Deciduous

Sea Said

And feeling an exceptionally
Deciduous phase
I peeled my skin
To other days

You were there
And I was too
In my flat
As winter grew

We had tea
On wooden chairs
Spoke in symbols
On two squares

You told a tale
Of another Sea
My presence pale
In poverty

The fruit on plates
Mocked farm hands
From the States
No foreign lands

The music calm
As I disrobe
On your palm
You spun the globe

Just a memory
All but lost
I’m brewing tea
In morning frost

And feeling an exceptionally
Deciduous phase
Pouring tea
As my pen strays

With fruit on plates
In poverty
Another now waits
To sip your tea

Autumn Blues

Blue
And feeling strange
As the seasons change
That’s nothing new
The blue
And the strange
Like you
Autumn cheats
Sunshine
To snow
You’re heart
Sans beats
Exiting a show
Always been
In
This doubt
It is
Without
That’s nothing new
A  rusted pout
Like you

Deciduous

And feeling an exceptionally
Deciduous phase
I peeled my skin
To other days

You were there
And I was too
In my flat
As winter grew

We had tea
On wooden chairs
Spoke in symbols
On two squares

You told a tale
Of another Sea
My presence pale
In poverty

The fruit on plates
Mocked farm hands
From the States
No foreign lands

The music calm
As I disrobe
On your palm
You spun the globe

Just a memory
All but lost
I’m brewing tea
In morning frost

And feeling an exceptionally
Deciduous phase
Pouring tea
As my pen strays

With fruit on plates
In poverty
Another now waits
To sip your tea

Four Dots….

Sea Said

He once sent
A single line
As if the sentence
Had a mind
Needed penance
From that kind

For this gent
Had placed four dots….
As if he sent
His after thoughts
And in that line
The sender sent
So my thoughts
With those dots went

Between the spaces
Of those dots
Bestowed the graces
Of dark thoughts

I still know not
Why this he sent
Four small dots
The sender went
